Abercrombie & Fitch Co.

Consumer Discretionary - Specialty Retail | Reports June 1st BMO

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is set to release their FQ1’18 earnings tomorrow before the open. Estimize predicts an EPS of -$0.73 while Wall Street predicts an EPS of -$0.79 although this is negative it is still well above last year’s EPS of -$0.91. Currently, the Estimize community expects to see a revenue result of $704.03M which is a little higher than Wall Street’s prediction of $698.26M in revenue.

Abercrombie has struggled to compete with “fast fashion” brands such as H&M and Zara in the past few years. Despite the fact that the brand has declined in popularity in recent years, they are currently on an upward trend. Abercrombie has seen a change in leadership and has shifted away from prominent logos on their clothing, improvements that have been paying off.
